Aubusson has 4662 inhabitants, who are called Aubussonnais. Aubusson is the area of 19.2 km ². Aubusson is located in the narrow, picturesque valley of the Creuse, surrounded by cliffs and wooded hills. This charming little town with its many old houses and narrow streets famous for its tapestries. Department at the Musée de la Tapisserie are tapestries from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. In addition, the Maison du Vieux Tapissier a refurbished old mill to behold.
The corner tower of a planned Maison des Vallenet and early 18th-century fountain in the Place de la Libération form a picturesque setting. Do you have a nice view over the city, you can do this best on the old Pont de la Terrade experience. Another attraction in Aubosson is the 17th-century three-nave church of Sainte-Croix.
