Aubusson has 4662 inhabitants, who are called Aubussonnais. Aubusson is the area of 19.2 km ². Aubusson is located in the narrow, picturesque valley of the Creuse, surrounded by cliffs and wooded hills. This charming little town with its many old houses and narrow streets famous for its tapestries. The Tapestry is a craft that since the 15th century is carried out but not until the 20th century with the arrival of Jean Lurçat, Aubusson regained its international reputation as a center of the tapestry.
